Height- 21 1/2 inches (90th percentile- thanks Brian for those genes!)
Weight- 7 lbs 10 oz (50th percentile- up 9 oz from last appt)
So, basically our baby lurves to eat! Thanks Katy for those genes!
We don't go back to the doctor until her 2 month check-up where the dreaded shots will begin. A poll question for everyone: How bad of a mother will I be if I make her father hold her during the shot ordeal? Will she remember that I was not there for her in her time of need and hold it against me when she is a teenager?
| Here's our little ducky after her appt. |
Congratulations on the successful visit -- I see you're already mastering the art of having low expectations! :)
ReplyDeleteMy answer to your poll question -- Not bad at all! In fact, you'll be the hero because you can give her milk once she "survives"! If it makes you feel any better, I cried harder than either boy when they got their first shots -- the nurses were very understanding. :)
You are a great mother! Are you aware how much you've endured since you became pregnant with our adorable baby girl? - sickness, pain, sleep deprivation, loss of appetite, severe diet restrictions, exposure to really smelly stuff . . . There was a time you never thought you could stand any of those. For that incredibly precious little one, YOU CAN DO ANYTHING! (Yes, Brian can hold her when she gets the shots, and I agree with Rachel that you can comfort her afterward with yummy milk.)I <3 U!
