This past weekend Mallory and I packed up the car and headed out on a road trip to Atlanta and then to Dalton. On the way to Atlanta I perfected the one arm driving/ one arm find and sticking a pacy in Mal's mouth maneuver! I only had to pull off the interstate once to find said pacy and have a heart to heart with Mal about the fact that I would be totally okay with her taking a snooze. She declined! We were both happy to pull into Chris and Rachel's house and even more excited to find Harrison and Hewitt still up. The next day Harrison, Mal and I loaded up again and headed to Dalton to visit Grandmama's school and celebrate Great Grandma Nell's birthday! Harrison was such a fun road trip companion and we had a blast seeing Mallory meet new family members. On the trip home Mallory decided to take my advice and slept all the way to Atlanta and then all the way home to Augusta. Overall I think our Mother-Daughter road trip was a success and we look forward to our next adventure!
