Man cannot live on milk alone! The day finally arrived for baby girl to start her foray into food. First up- delicious rice cereal. I don't really know if it's delicious cause I refuse to taste it but Mallory seems to really enjoy it so I'll just take her word for it! Okay, so let me back up. A few days before we started Mallory on rice cereal I was eating some apple slices and holding Mallory. The whole time she was trying to grab the apple so finally I just put it up to her mouth and let her lick it. Bad move Mama. She grabbed that apple slice so fast and was trying to stuff the whole thing in her mouth. As I gently took it out of her super tight grasp she didn't just fuss she all out wailed like she was in pure distress. I thought this can't be about the apple so I let her take another lick (when will I learn?) and sure enough the moment I took it away the wailing started up again. It was so shocking/funny that we had to document it to share. Here is our sad little apple loving baby:
And now onto the rice cereal. Bottom line- our baby loves to eat! Next up- oatmeal. Ooooooooh!
